Hello,
As you can imagine, things are very busy here at school – and I am sure they are at home as well! Therefore, instead of a full newsletter this week, I just wanted to give you the information you need to know for next week. We will produce a bumper edition of the newsletter next week to celebrate everything that has been going on during the last two weeks of term.
Monday
- Transition morning for all classes (year 6 will be with Mrs Thompson)
- Please can all children bring in a bag to school which they can use to take home books and other pieces of work from the year
- Year 5 and 6 Production – 6pm
Tuesday
- Whole school Collective Worship about OSCAR’s charity delivered by Phil Martinez
- Music Assembly
- Year 5 and 6 Production – 6pm
Wednesday
- Lunchtime picnic with parents/ carers – you are welcome to join us between 11:50am and 1pm. Remember to bring your picnic blankets! Please remember we are a nut free school.
- Please note we will open the gates between 11:50am and 12noon, and then we will open them again at 1pm. It is very difficult to keep the site secure if we have to open the gates between these times, so we would appreciate parents/carers staying for the full hour. Thank you for your understanding.
Thursday
- Children in KS1 can bring board games to school
- Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly and Tea Party with parents – 1:30pm
- PTA Disco EYFS and KS1 – 6pm – 7pm / KS2 – 7:15pm-8:15pm
Friday
- Leavers’ Service at St Nicholas Church – whole school attends (no parents)
- School closes for summer
- If your child has a birthday during the summer holidays, they can wear their own clothes on a day of their choosing next week.
We are all really looking forward to the year 6 dress rehearsal tomorrow afternoon and the choir concert after school. We look forward to seeing some of you there at 4pm.
Have a lovely weekend when it arrives,
Clare Thompson
