Picnic Time Look at Activity Four. Collect some teddies or toys and have a picnic. Use play food, playdough food or even real food! Check with a grown up. Share things equally or the toys will grumble! If you can, make a video of your picnic and describe how you have shared out the picnic food.
MUSIC Let’s go to Play It! https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/bring-the-noise/eyfs-ks1-music-play-it-bring-the-noise/z4sq92p . There are some good games to help you really listen well to music. Go to BRING THE NOISE. This week, let’s go to Listen and Layer and Feel the Beat
R.E./ART Thank you for sharing videos and pictures of the pretty collections of natural objects you have found and for the way your created beautiful displays. Now you are really good at using your senses to select objects, I would like you to be a creator again and design and make something beautiful out of natural or junk materials. I have included a picture to give you some ideas. Think of the colour and the texture.
R.E./SCIENCE Be a creator and change liquids into solids!
Crazy cornflour slime
This activity is a bit messy but really fun and hands-on. You will love exploring the strange properties of liquids and solids. For best results use a large shallow container that you can put on the floor, like a sand/water tray. Mix together cornflour and water until you have a slime consistency. Add some food colour with the help of a grown up. Try punching the slime – it instantly turns solid! Roll some slime into a ball in your hand and then stop – it turns back into a liquid! It’s amazing!
