In Science we investigated static electricity and mapped the solar system

Our superhero display was a combination of maths and Art. The children were given small pictures of superheroes and asked to scale up to the massive pictures you can see. But one slight mistake in measuring the original and it could be big mistake in the final painting! I think we were all surprised by how good the results were.

Our classroom was turned into a chamber of horrors, ready for this half-term’s topic. The children visited the disused building and recreated the night the waxworks came alive scaring the poor building foreman who they met there… What horrors would we face as the term progressed?
