Although it has been a tough year for everyone, two families in our school community have been in our hearts and prayers constantly over the last 12 months as they have faced some incredibly tough circumstances. Many in our community have been touched by the challenges they have faced and have been keen to support them throughout. With this in mind, as a school staff we wanted to play our part in helping them both to raise money for their chosen charities and hopefully to raise a few smiles along the way!

So, we’ve set ourselves a challenge: to collectively run or walk all the way from Land’s End to John O’Groats by the end of the school year! We will be tracking our run as part of a virtual Conqueror Challenge (1,083 miles) and keeping you updated with regular newsletter entries about our progress. The charities we will be raising money for, in support of these families, are St Leonard’s Hospice and Oscar’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity.
